Yes, Super Mario Bros. 3 is finally out!

This week's focus seems to be squarely on Virtual Console releases. After months of being mum on the subject, April seems to be the month that a bunch of major games are making their Wii U and Nintendo 3DS debuts. For example, there's a little art house title called Super Mario Bros. 3 making it's solemn, low key debut this week. There's also a batch of new Game Boy Advance games coming out today as well. Check out the titles below!

Nintendo 3DS eShop

Bit Boy!! Arcade

Boy, this game must be embarrassed that it's the only non-Virtual Console game coming out this week for the 3DS. Well, it probably would be if video games were sentient beings. I'm pretty sure that they aren't. Or are they...

Smash Cat Heroes

Everyone loves cats nowadays! But does everyone love cat video games? I don't really know. I'm not really sure what this game entails, but the cat loving demographic on the internet is sure to give it a try.

Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console

Super Mario Bros. 3

Yes, Super Mario 3 is finally arriving on the Virtual Console. My favorite part of the game? Kuribo's Shoe. There's nothing cooler than to hopping in a giant green shoe and stomping on spinys like there's no tomorrow. .

Wii U Downloads

My First Songs

The killer app for the two to five demographic is finally out! My First Songs will have some of the classics we all belted out as kids, including Old McDonald and a bunch of others.

Flowerworks HD: Follie's Adventure

Finally, Follie's going to get an adventure in HD. For too long now we've had to settle for standard definition, but no more! Glorious, eye-blistering HD.

Wii U Virtual Console

F-Zero: Maximum Velocity

I'll admit that I'm not the biggest F-Zero fan. I don't know why, just never got into the series. The game maintains a diehard fanbase throughout all its hardships, so I'm sure plenty of people are excited to scoop up this GBA title.

Golden Sun

One of the best RPGs to release on the system, Golden Sun was a pretty exciting package. All the fun of a full length RPG, without all the messy cords and consoles lying around. What a treat!

Super Mario Bros. 3

Another fun Mario item in this game, by the way? The Hammer Bros. suit! I think it's more because of the rarity of it in the game more than anything, though. Be sure to pick up both versions so you can play one with your feet. Twice the Mario, twice the fun!

Thank you Club Nintendo for making it so I can get Mario 3 for a buck.

Also, showed my love for M2 by picking up Golden Sun since it's the first game I cared about on GBA that I didn't own either on cart or 3DS.

As a 3DS Ambassador, I would not recommend Maximum Velocity. Not a good game. I wish SMB3 was the SMAS version. I won't get the Wii U version because I still own the SMAS Wii disc, but maybe for 3DS to have a portable version.

Yeah. I did the same with Mario 3, and I picked up Golden Sun, despite owning the cart.

With the gba version's level select? Yes please.
