Title: Vote for the First Mega Man to Release in Mega May

A poll is being held for users to vote for which Mega Man game they want to be released first on the North American 3DS Virtual Console during Mega May.

The choices consist of:

Voting ends April 14 at 10 A.M. PT. The winning title will release on May 1, 2014, with the remaining games releasing each Thursday thereafter.

(Nah, just kidding.)

Anyway, I voted Mega Man V. Never played it. I've also never played Mega Man Xtreme, but that's pretty bad from what I've read and heard. Double tapping the d-pad to dash? Sounds icky.

Mega Man V for the Gameboy is considered one of the greatest Mega Man games by many who played it.  This is why I've wanted to play the game for almost 20 years now but could never find a damn copy anywhere.  The original release must have been extremely rare which is why its almost impossible to find.

So vote for V people so we can all see if it's as good as those who were lucky enough to find a copy say it is.

Aww, man.  You fooled me with the title.  I clicked on this ready to vote for X3.  Oh, well.  Hopefully that arrives at somepoint in the Wii U lifetime.

Luigi Dude- I own Mega Man 5 (GB).  It's a good game, but does little to differentiate itself from any of the first 6 NES games (which I also own).  I love Mega Man games, I probably wouldn't put Mega Man 5 (GB) or any of these portable titles as a top 5 Mega Man game.  Not that they aren't good, I'd just temper my expectations a little.

You're in luck, because Capcom and Nintendo would totally release GameBoy games on Wii U, that's how they roll.

Just an fyi for those that don't play Mega Man games, Mega Man X3 is the snes sequel to Mega Man X and X2 which are already out on Wii U vc.

But they won't release any gb/gbc games on the 3ds because thats where nes games go silly. ;)
