Title: NFRIT Eager 8: Pikmin 3 (4) v Excitebots: Trick Racing (7)
Post by: Shaymin on March 28, 2014, 10:19:59 PM
Some people might have bet on Olimar's HD adventures reaching this point... but NOBODY would have picked the least hyped game in Nintendo's recent history to beat an indie darling AND the Gamecube's premiere futuristic racer. Will the upsets continue?
Pikmin 3: Even now, Pikmin 3 is one of the most visually impressive WiiU games, with unbelievable realism in water effects and stunning beauty in any type of environment. The new team elements and time attack modes – including free downloads – keep you wanting to come back for more.
Excitebots Trick Racing: Excitebots didn't get much pre-release hype – in fact, we only found out it existed six weeks before its North American release. When it did come out, it brought with it insane racing that almost proved as crazy as Mario Kart Wii, and robots on motorcycles playing (children's) card games. Yes, this actually happened.
Previous Matchups: Beat World of Goo (R1), F-Zero GX (S16)

Harsh. Still got to go with Excitebots, though, nothing else like it.

Haven't played Pikmin 3, but ExciteBots is pretty good regardless.

I predicted it because I never voted for F-Zero GX. It's true. I never voted for it in either round.

Oh good, Pikmin 3 won. I haven't played either game but I chose the won that had already won.
