Title: Wii Sports Club Wii U Hardware Bundle Coming to Japan

A new Wii U hardware bundle that comes with the three current Wii Sports Club titles, Tennis, Bowling and Golf, is set to arrive in Japan in late March, Iwata revealed at the latest Nintendo Direct. The new set will come with also come with a Wii Remote Plus and Sensor Bar retailing for 30,000 yen. This bundle is currently exclusive to Japan.

Why is the Sensor Bar mentioned? Does the standard Wii U in Japan not include one?

This will help WiiU sales in Japan for sure.

Well if the problem was that everyone thought the gamepad was an attachment for the Wii, and that in part help to hinder sales, the next best thing is to bundle it with the generation defining game of Wii Sports to help squash any further confusion that someone might think this is something new.
