Title: Question about pokemon and adding friends.
Post by: Chrysiscore on January 21, 2014, 07:58:24 PM
Alright, So I purchased (new) pokemon Y and added my friends friend codes to my 3DS. Everything worked alright. Then I purchased a used Pokemon X. The previous owners friends were the only ones I could see. I've now restarted the game. But Still I can only see the previous owners 3 friends. How do I clear them and make it so that my pokemon X recognizes all my friends cards?

It's confusing to me that the game itself holds friend information.. I thought it was all built around your friends 3ds friend codes

Honestly haven't seen this behavior. Maybe Shaymin might know something.

Yea, It's weird because I'm sure plenty of people play both games, So I wonder where the problem came about...

You can't wipe that part of the game's memory? Do you or a local friend has another 3DS for you to test on theirs? You could always copy all of your 3DS information to another 3DS and see if that resets anything. Then start the X game on the 'cleared' system. Then move the data back to the original 3DS if it worked and then start your X again on it. This could hopefully allow your friend list to take on the game.
This is fully a theory I came up with without any proof of it working so no promises it will work. I just figured it is possible that the transfer tool could help reset everything for you.
