But each version will have exclusive trophies!

Trophies will be retuning in the next installments of the Super Smash Bros. series releasing on Wii U and 3DS in 2014.
This information comes from the official Super Smash Bros. site where a trophy featuring Saria was shown for the 3DS. Masahiro Sakurai, the game's director, said that both versions of the game will have exclusive trophies. The Wii U version will feature trophies based on home console games while the 3DS version will feature trophies based on handhelds.
I still think it's silly that Ocarina of Time is being counted strictly as a handheld title.
Gerudo Valley has only been shown in the 3DS version. I suppose the stage could very well be in both versions, but I doubt it. Not that this is a big deal or anything, I just think it's silly and strange. Ocarina of Time should be counted as both console and handheld (and it may though it seems unlikely). Otherwise, I personally think it's more appropriate to be counted as a console game since it was release on a console first.
This is the part that peeves me about Wii U owners. You guys get to have Skyloft in the Wii U version of Smash 4. 3DS owners won't.Is this for real? You're making a pretty bold assumption about me and other Wii U owners. I'm have a Wii U and a 3DS; I will be getting both versions. On top of that, I like my 3DS more.
Gotta let 3DS owners have SOMETHING. And I'm personally happy they are counting OoT as more of a handheld these days.We are getting something. 3DS has the Spirit Train Zelda stage which absolutely makes sense. Fair is fair. I just think it's silly to use Ocarina of Time as the basis for platform exclusive content when it's not a platform exclusive game. I get why they're counting it as a 3DS game; I just disagree with it. Why not have a Link's Awakening stage? Maybe there will be one. Again, not a big deal; I'd rather they use actual platform exclusive games for platform exclusive content if that's the direction they want to go.
