The WiiWare exclusive racer earns an HD sequel.

FAST Racing Neo, a follow-up to 2011's high-octane WiiWare racing game FAST Racing League, has been announced as a Wii U eShop exclusive.

This is the second Wii U game developed by Shin'en Multimedia under the Neo moniker, following the eShop launch title Nano Assault Neo. No concrete details about this FAST sequel have been divulged at the time of writing.

FAST Racing Neo is set to be released some time in 2014.

It will be interesting to see what they can do now that they aren't limited to 40MB.

Shinen did confirm on their twitter that they are using their second generation Wii U engine.
