Learn more about Sonic Lost World by watching our video walkthrough. Also, check out a short 60 FPS video of the game in action.

On October 29, Sonic Lost World will be released on the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. The new game features numerous nods to the classic Sonic games along with the return of the Wisps from Sonic Colors. In the following video walk-through, Sega's Aaron Webber shows us a near final build of Sonic Lost World.

Sega is optimizing the new Sonic game to run at a silky smooth 60 frames per second. Because YouTube does not show 60 FPS, we've also created a short video showing the game running at its true frame rate.

Fool me once, shame on me.  Fool me a dozen subsequent times, shame on you...?

Colors and Generation were both good so Sonic has gotten a better track record recently.  I see no reason not to expect this game to turn out good as well, especially with how great the footage has been so far.

Looks very nice. Love the bell idea. I think this one will be a winner.

Looks great.

I like how they try to address problems with Sonic gameplay, combat is still a bit too finicky from what i see.

We've certainly seen much more of Sonic compared to 3D World, but for the first time since the SNES a Sonic game looks more interesting than a Mario game. For me anyway.

I normally never watch certain gameplay videos over a few minutes but I watched all of this and I am loving what I am seeing. Just bring on playable Tails and Knuckles in the same levels!
