Title: Layton 7 Revealed for Nintendo 3DS

Those ready for more Layton can get geared up for the next title on 3DS, iOS and Android.

Layton 7, the next entry in the Professor Layton series, is coming to the Nintendo 3DS, iOS and Android platforms. While details, which come from Level-5’s Vision 2013 event, remain sparse, the game is set to be a role-playing puzzle game. In-game footage showcased characters walking around a town full of miniaturized buildings. Much of the experience is left up to the imagination of the user.

Layton 7 does not yet have a release date.

Didn't Level 5 say that Layton #6 was the last game with Layton in it?   Then who's in this one?  Emmy?  Luke?

I don't know, but the Layton Bros. game on iOS supposedly stars Professor Layton's son.  I would suspect that this game, like that one, is only tangentially related to the characters from the main series.
