Art Academy: Sketchpad, the latest title in Nintendo's Art Academy series, hits the WiiU eShop on August 9, as revealed in Nintendo Direct just minutes ago.
The drawing application features all of the tools and stationery expected from the series, and allows users to post screenshots of their artwork on Miiverse. Iwata says that Nintendo is currently thinking of ways to highlight particularly impressive pieces of art on the Miiverse channel.
It was also stated that a full Art Academy title featuring interactive tutorials and art lessons for Wii U is in development.
