With the StreetPass Mii Plaza games being available in every region now, we’ve all had some time to screw around with the new StreetPass Mii Plaza games. Since we’re hindered by low StreetPass amounts and demanding Play Coin uses, we’ll be holding off posting reviews of each game for a bit. Instead, enjoy this discussion on each game.
Just to catch you up to speed, each new StreetPass game is developed by a Nintendo-friendly developer. The development of each game seemed to be similar to how Wii Play: Motion's slate of mini-games came about. As a matter of fact, every company save Grezzo also worked on a mini-game or two for Wii Play: Motion.
Good-Feel, makers of Kirby's Epic Yarn and Wario Land: Shake It!, made the shoot-'em-up Mii Force, pulling from their history as Gradius developers.
Grezzo created Flower Town. Aside from making the Japan-only WiiWare game Line Attack Heroes, Grezzo also handled the remake of Ocarina of Time on 3DS and of Four Swords on DSiWare.
Warrior's Way was helmed by Spike Chunsoft, who work tirelessly on making mystery dungeon games among other works, including 999 and the original versions of most NES/SNES Dragon Quest games.
Lastly, Prope, the Yuji Naka-led team behind Let's Tap, Ivy the Kiwi?, and Fishing Resort, made Monster Manor.
Mii Force - Probably the strongest game of the four, but it's one that I save for meets where I have 6-7 passes for the sake of balance. You guys must have different names for them over in america as there all streetpass something over here (australia)
Flower Town - zzzz....
Warrior's Way - Actually ended up in my usual Streetpass rotation along with Puzzle Swap and Find Mii II, though I wish I could figure out how my colleagues ended up with over 100k strong armies.
Monster Manor - I think I'm hitting the wall on this one and I'm only on the 3rd floor. I've got a good weapon now, so I hope things will get a little easier.
