Nintendo is giving fans a bigger reason to go digital with New Super Luigi U.

Club Nintendo is celebrating the launch of New Super Luigi U with two promotions. First, Club Nintendo will give members double the coins for taking the New Super Luigi U registration survey, after they purchase the game, earning 40 coins instead of 20. Second, every Club Nintendo member that downloads New Super Luigi U will be entered in a random drawing to win one of 980 Luigi pins.
The “Year of Luigi Pin”, as Nintendo is calling it, may not be as rare an item as the contest makes it out to be. It appears identical to a pin that has been sold at the Nintendo World Store for years now. However, we will only know for sure if someone is able to compare the two after winning.
This promotion will run until August 1st, so those holding out for a physical copy of New Super Luigi U are out of luck.
