You can play it on the GamePad. That's currently not possible with pirated versions, and if you believe the hackers it may never be true, since hacking the Wii U is apparently not worth their time.

I can also play it on a laptop or a psp or my microwave so that's not really an incentive.

Meh. If I can be bothered to hook my Wii U up again, I might download it. I'll never understand people's love affair with that game, especially compared to the Prime games and Zero Mission. Still, $.30 is cheaper than what it would take to repurchase the game on my Wii U, so whatever.

Seriously though Prime is bad and Zero Mission, while not bad for casual scum, is too easy and watered down for an elite hardcore mature gamer such as myself. Super Metroid is the king of the series. Because I have willed it so.
I'm sure as hell not plugging in my Wii U though.

I think by the time I fight Ridley, I usually have enough missles and health that I realy don't even try to avoid him that much and just fire as fast and rapidly as I can over and over. Just pound him. I'll try and avoid his tail swipes and ground pounds as I can and not be completely stupid but I'm more concerned about aiming correctly and keeping a constant barrage up. Even if he grabs me in his claws, I just use that as an excuse to better aim at him and fire away. I think I usually end up close to death at the end but the point is, he goes down first.
