Title: Wii U Injustice DLC Expected This Summer

The downloadable content for Injustice: Gods Among Us will hopefully be coming to Wii U this summer, according to the game's Twitter feed.

After not getting any part of the game's pre-order and Season Pass content, Warner Bros. was quiet as to whether or not Wii U would receive DLC. The first downloadable character, Lobo, is available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 as of this week. Four characters are planned, with Batgirl confirmed to be the second character. General Zod and Scorpion are rumored to be the last two characters.

Warner Bros. offered no word as to when the discussed Wii U patch will be available, which is slated to add in Friend Matches and more to the Nintendo version of the game.

It's because the Wii U is so under-powered, it takes this much longer for the DLC to download.

Seriously, the patch that brings the game in-line with the other versions sounds promising.

So what your saying is that the DLC in Injustice is really actually already on the Download Servers and is using the background service to be downloaded to all the Wii U's with the game so it be ready to go.  I could believe Summer for it to complete :P

They shipped an incomplete version of the game.  Thinking no one would notice.

Sounds like it was lose-lose for Warner Bros. Either launch the complete game late or launch incomplete at the same time as the other versions.

On the bright side, at least the content is coming eventually. I'm not a huge fighting game fan, but if Supergirl shows up playable in the future and she's anywhere near as awesome as she is the DC Animated Universe (voiced by Nicholle Tom, plz), they can just take my money.

To be honest at this point im grateful that they are putting this out at all as many publishers already regard WiiU as a failure.

It's great that the content will be coming "eventually", but I still don't understand the delay. The only logical excuse I can think of is some "super exclusive Nintendo only" DLC that hasn't been announced yet... maybe there'll be DLC that puts a Luigi hat on all the characters?

Or... dare I dream... Nondescript Action Figure?

I think the biggest thing is not being totally up-front about it. 

"Hey DLC is getting patched."

Before everyone else gets the DLC.  Being Proactive instead of Reactive.

What about costume DLC that was exclusive to certain retailers ?
They should give that away to wii u owners to make us happy.

Yeah, to even get a character resembling Superman his kit would be sooo very very broken for smash.
