Do you think it is a good buy? (Prices are all canadian) Should I get component or s-video? Any other advice you have for buying a T.V. would be helpful.

Looks like a pretty decent TV. I just purchased a 27"toshiba from future shop with S-video and Component inputs. If you are just using your TV for the Cube defintly get the component cables. I can switch pretty quickly from my RCA inputs to my component input and the difference is night and day. The component picture is 10 times brighter, and super crisp. I can see small details that I could not pick out when using the RCA connector. The RCA input is blurry compared to the component.
Just make sure you order your cables from Nintendo Canada, there is a 1800 number on nintendos website that you call. I ordered mine from Lik sang and it cost me twice as much and took twice as long to get here then my friends who ordered from Nintendo. Yes I am an idiot.

This TV doesn't support progressive scan, so you will not see too much of a difference between S-Video and Component Video on this television. However, you're probably better off spending the extra money for a component GameCube cable anyway, just in case you ever buy a digital TV or bring your system to another location where one is available.
