Man get an education, thats far more important.  Without the proper intellectual skills you could wind up like one of those mindless $ony fan boys.

hey i didn't pass highschool and im doing just fine

actually get your education, but pokemon is an awsome game for at school any game that lets you save and walk away like that, i wouldn't recomend metroid fusion (great game) but a frantic rush for a save point could prove troublesome

My school uses a wierd block scheduling- we have 7 different classes across 2 days and have 4  1 and a half hour classes each day. Since that leaves one empty class period, we have a 90 minute study hall every other day, so I at least have a time when I can play games. Besides, I had a 4.0 GPA my freshman year.

I played a lot of GS2 in my study hall- my friends played a mixture of Kirby, Pokemon, and Kid Icarus.

My school is on the same schedule as mouse_clicker's, so during seminar/study hall, my friend and I would always link up and play 4 swords. We had to be sneaky though.

So if you have a friend that has Link to the Past and would like to link up, then that is a nice option. If you don't, then I would definently go with Wario Ware, it is an amazing game.

I used to play Pokemon in chem class.  And Japanese class.  And math class.  And Physics class.  And Anthropology...

Well, you get the drift.  I think that Wario Ware would be excellent for playing from the back row though.

Heh, I saw someone playing on their GBA during a lecture.  Hiding the GBA partly under the desk so the lecturer wouldn't see what he was doing.

As for me, I consider education more important.  Oops, I sounded like a nerd!

Advance Wars is a really great game and you can save instantly. I don't know about Wario Ware though, cuz I haven't gotten it.  I agree with what Bloodworth said, you should at least try to have some what of a social life

Game & Watch Gallery 4 would be pretty good for school, I'd imagine.  Especially since you can pause in the middle of the games to take a note or two once in a while.

Really, any game that you can just pick up and play, without having a story to digest is good for schooling.

That's odd, swimguy- my school called our study hall "seminar" as well- crazy.

I have plenty of time...

Since my school is one where we can go out of the school to have lunch, I usually just skip my study hall (3rd hour) and go to mcdonald's, get some breakfast and just play my GBA for about 40 minutes. Its cool especially because I go with like 3 of my friends and so any multiplayer game is instantly accesible. Also I have painting right after lunch which is possibly the coolest class ever, we can chill listen to music, paint obviously, or all three at the same time.

My highschool is the sh*t, and its rank one of the best schools so its not delinquient(sp). And oh ya German class is tight, Cultural Day (Food and chilling day) every Friday.

EDIT: Oh ya, I forgot what the topic was......um Zelda and Pokemon definitly, Advance Wars and Golden Sun maybe (you can save anytime with those). Haven't played Wario Ware though i want to

Pokemon, definately. I play it at work during my breaks, during which I am often interrupted at least once to go back out onto the floor to help some idiot customer locate the golf balls that are sitting on the shelf directly behind him. When that happens, I fold up the SP, pop in my pocket, kill the customer and go back into my game. Pokemon is a great game to do that since nothing will really happen as long as you don't push any buttons and as long as the SP is closed, that won't happen. I suppose that could work with pretty much any RPG too...

pokemon and golden sun 2 are the best bets IMO, because they are turn based, if you have to quickly stop for whatever reason, it doesnt impede the gameplay.  And they are both incredibly good and quite long RPG's (230 hours on pokemon ruby, 78 on GS2) which will take alot of classtime up.
Wario-Ware is a close second, but it requires full attention.. which can be rather distracting and obvious, espicially the amount of curse words you'll end up saying every time you fail something.  espicially on something like "paper-plane"

I played a fair share of 4 swords in the classroom often, but there so much cussing and talking required for this, that its quite difficult to do without being noticed.

True Syl_Aran, but one of my teachers always plays videos during seminar, and he is completely oblivious as to what is going on around him because he is so into the movies. So my friend and I would sit in the back corner, and we would cuss at each other the entire time. One time we were supposed to link up with another kid, but he never showed up.

Here's my advise:

1. Switch off that GBA during school

2. Concetrate on your schoolwork instead

3. Gradute with good grades

Optional: Go to collage

4. Now that you have a HS diploma, or collage degree, you will most likely get better jobs and be able to buy EVEN MORE gaming stuff!

Whoa! Someone either loves to sit there during a almost pointless studyhall (I do my homework at home!), or is old and made a lot of mistakes, or is pissed off becuase they did not have GBA's in his time.

Pfft simple question. Want to have a blast and be entertained? You can stop right in the middle and it'll save your high score. Get the latest version of Tetris. Tetris is a blast especially at school, easy to start and easy to stop. It also challenges the mind, and when you get bored of it just put it down and in a few weeks you'll start up again. I also reccomend any Mario game or a good fighter like Street fighter, or wrestling if you prefer.

We have a study hall at our school, but we call it advisory, and instead of being quiet, its just a classroom filled with the same asses you see in the hallway. hoo-ray.

Back on topic, a platformer never goes wrong =) DKC, Mario World, Yoshi's Island, Rayman, they're all good.

Can't talk in my study, so socializing is cut down. That's why I skip it, my mom doesn't mind as long as I mantian the 4-O.

Just bought Lufia and Tactics Ogre! Oh my god, find some way to play these games!

The only problem with playing at school is that unless I'm in study hall I don't have a long time to play, and when the bell rings I don't want to have to quit and do things all over again, I want to just save.  Also, I need it to be fun and to be something I wont get bored of. So which of the two I said should I choose, or do you have any other suggestions?

"Optional: Go to collage"

You might want to consider that as well, seeing as "college" is spelled with an "e".
