Title: Mario U Not Saving

Been chatting with a Miiverse friend, her Mario U data won't save after she beats castles and such. I've read issues similar but this sounds pretty unique. This happen to anyone else? What could it be?

I don't get it...
She has only saved up to the first castle. Everything within the 2nd world won't save. We has a white Wii, with plenty of memory left. I just said call Nintendo.

If someone has a problem saving progress in the desert world, what I had her do was go through the secret exit in world 1 to make it to world 4. From there the saving started working properly again, so I guess it was just a glitch in the desert world.
