Title: Super Punch-Out!! is the Latest Club Nintendo Download Reward

Super Punch-Out!! is now available as a Club Nintendo download reward for 150 coins. 

Club members have until November 14, 2012 to redeem this Wii Virtual Console title, which originally released on the SNES back in 1994.

Super Punch-Out!! replaces Pilotwings as a redeemable Club Nintendo reward. The DSiWare title Pro-Putt Domo is also currently available as a reward for 100 coins until November 4, 2012.

I could never get into this game in the same way that I did with Punch Out!!, but it's still a really funny game and makes for a great Club Reward.

I played the crap out of this game when it came out and hadn't touched it for at least ten years when I played through it again. My muscle memory was great, however, because I ended up finishing 16-0 with no practice. Short, but very fun. Wish it was on eShop instead...

If you've ever played a boss rush mode in a game, then you know what to expect from Punch-Out!!.

The one thing you should not expect is a realistic boxing game.

So, I'm wondering if I can continue downloading games from the eshop when the WiiU drops when I redeem club points.  Because, man, with all the WiiU stuff I'm buying, I will have a crap ton of points to spend on Nintendo Club games.


And also, how much longer do they plan on supporting the Wii with Nintendo Club points? It won't effect me personally because I've sold my Wii, but it is a curiosity.

Wow that's ironic; I was just about to download this game the other day with some left over Wii points I still had. Glad I held off. Now I can get it for F.R.E.E.!!  :D
