Almost every time I make a comment, my Safari browser crashes. I guess the browser can't keep up with my typing. Can that be fixed with a webpage that's optimized for smartphones?

Use Chrome. It's fantastic on iOS.

There already is a mobile version... I'll have to dig out my old feature phone to figure out the link again...

I've never had any trouble with the site in mobile Safari. I use Chrome nowadays, but with the way iOS browsers work that shouldn't make a difference.

iOS browsers are all basically Safari with a different skin, so I don't know that switching to Chrome will fix his problems. It is definitely the way to go as far as iOS browsers go in general, though.

I hate to sound nitpicky but those look like they were designed on a mid-summers day in 2003. At least try to pretty them up a bit And yes i love exaggerating how old/outdated some things are deal with it
The standard site works brilliantly however but the fourms just go blahh

WAP2 worked great back when I had a phone similar to something you'd see in an episode of The Flintstones.
Now, I just use the real forums.
