Crashmo, a sequel to Pushmo, has been announced to fall during fall, quite literally.

A sequel to Pushmo (Pullbox in Europe) called Crashmo (Fallblox in Europe) is coming to North America on November 22, and during the month of November in Europe.

The upcoming title will feature 90 training levels and 120 new levels. Players will still be able to create and share their own levels as in the first title, with enhanced features compared to the first game. Crashmo is to feature a new gameplay mechanic to the series by adding gravity to puzzle blocks as a challenge. Blocks will fall as you play.

Keep them coming, Intelligent Systems. I was a big fan of Pullblox (the better title) and Fallblox (also the better title) seems like a nice evolution. And you never know, with this kind of success on 3DS, maybe a stage might find it's way into the next Smash Bros...

Easily the best news of the day. The sequel to one of the finest games of 2011 will likely be one of the finest games of 2012.

"Pullblox" a better title for the game? I'm afraid I can't let that claim go unchallenged...

Granted, "Pullblox" is most definitely a better name for the actual blocks in the game, but I think you're letting your territorial bias cloud your judgment if you can't see how "Pushmo" is a far superior title for the actual game itself-- It features a quirky sumo-wrestler as its main character! You can't honestly tell me that completely ignoring that fact in the title isn't kinda silly.

I can't help but wonder if you'll be able to use your original QR codes from Pushmo to bring your old creations into Crashmo... Judging by the same basic way the the blocks are setup, it certainly appears as if Crashmo should be able to support Pushmo designs. Let's hope Intelligent Systems noticed this fact too.
