By any chance does anyone know if the "Speed Up" mechanism is only used in multiplayer? It makes sense that the screen auto-scrolls for multiplayer as it stops any player from running ahead and grieving all it's partners. I hope that single player doesn't do that though. :L
Also, is the ability to pop your own bubble new this game? I can't remember doing that in New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

Ability to pop your bubble is new and the "Speed Up" thing is only for the Boost Rush mode.

I feel like I'm losing all perspective on the Mario series. I can't even tell if this type of prescriptive Mario platformer is something I can even enjoy anymore, and that's coming from someone whose been playing Super Mario Bros 3 since he was 3.
Somehow, the Galaxy titles and 3D Land just seemed to speak to me in a way that these NSMB games don't.
