Title: Tekken Tag 2 Wii U Addition (Snoop dog launch trailer!)

I keep hearing great things about this game and can't wait to play with all the Nintendo costumes! I just hope it is as good quality wise as the PS360 versions. The Smash Bros item like gameplay looks like a simple diversion but I'm more interested in the normal game with Nintendo themed costumes.
Costumes shown so far are: Mario Luigi Bowser Zero Suit Samus Link Zelda Ganondorf Fox

They are just costumes, right? There was nothing about those characters actually being in the game like Link in Soul Caliber 2?

Sounds more like an enhanced version. It is the same game as the PS360 versions but with Nintendo themed costumes and a Smash Bros-like mode with powerups. Sounds good to me, especially if it comes with the un-Nintendofied version as well.

The real question(s) remains, though...
Can we suit up a female character in that Bowser shell costume? And how much would this thrill Mr. Zachary?

You know those Nintendo costumes remind me of something from many years ago.
Hopefully they'll be a Kirby and Pikachu costume similar to these. Oh and there better to be a Captain Falcon costume or else somebody is getting a FALCON PUNCH!!!.

It'll be the prettiest version and have those fun little additions, but the tradeoff will probably be having worse online play than the PS3/360 versions.

edit: the online play on PS3/360 is pretty darn good

I heard about that, but I can't imagine most players will use them. Why isn't ethernet standard on the Wii U?

The last Tekken game I played was for PS1 and I thought it was dull and slow as hell compared to Virtua Fighter and SFII:T so I never followed the series after that bad first impression.
This looks kinda awesome though, but I'm just not that in to fighters. Maybe I'll get it after it hits the bargain bin :/ sorry guys..
