Celebrating Kirby's 20th anniversary in a special way!

A limited edition Kirby medal is now available as a Club Nintendo reward in celebration of Kirby’s 20th anniversary. 

The medal is highly limited at only 1,000 pieces and comes in a special collectable package featuring various Kirby artwork. The commemorative piece carries a cost of 600 coins.

I'm pissed, I don't even have enough coins for it. I'm missing 120, but I'm pretty sure I'd be close enough to it with Post Play surveys to justify buying something on the eShop to get there, if I hadn't waited until now to register a pile of games.

I have 630 coins, but I intend to buy Super Smash Bros., and I would likely just store the medal in a drawer anyways. I suppose I could get it and then try to sell it on eBay in the future. Only 1,000 would be pretty rare. Hell, people spent hundreds of dollars on E3 Skylanders figures (and there were way more than 1,000 of those given out).

Already gone. I stopped on online game of Warhammer 40k to grind out the last 30 coins I needed....but alas, sold out. I always seem to miss the good stuff. At least I got Fluidity when it was on Club Nintendo!

Does it not tell you that it's sold out until you try to order it? It still seems as though they are offering the reward.


I would absolutely order this if I had enough coins. I could probably only eke out 200 or so looking at my pile of unregistered games.

Yeah it lets you click on the medal and the button that says  "I want one" but then Donkey Kong tells ya it's out of stock and to check back later . F'n Donkey Kong.  :(

Ordered one, was trying to get a second for sale or trade, but the damn things sold out while I was doing my last survey. ARGH.
