By the time you see this, they'll probably be gone

Way to contribute to mass hysteria amongst the Nintendo-going public there Norex. &P

Also, OMG, my Mii is famous in that NSMB2 Puzzle Swap pic! I'm so happy I was wearing my burger hat that day too, it totally fit this episode's theme!

No McDons puzzle pieces for me yet! Completed the Demon Training and Kirby ones, the pink puffball one gets an amazing animation once it's complete!
Nice to keep having new puzzles every month or so  :D

Ooops... lol, I totally didn't know that was your Mii. I seem to encounter a bunch of happy mistakes after editing the video. BT Dubs, killer move in making your Mii wear a burger on its head!

Good Job.  This should be a good edition to the site.

Does anyone know if there is any way you can avoid collecting the McDonalds puzzle pieces? What I like about Puzzle Swap is that it's almost like collecting and building your own little Nintendo pop-up book. For someone like me who really distastes being marketed and advertised to (especially on something that I paid money for), the introduction of these types of adverts would totally ruin the fun for me.

Before anyone points out that Nintendo puzzles are themselves advertisements, I would just like to say that it's not the same.

It sounds like you have to get the first piece of it through SpotPass while at a McDonalds, so you can either not go to McDonalds or turn off your 3DS wireless before you go.

@Pix^2

Do you live in Japan?  Isn't the McD puzzle only a Japanese promotion?

No, I don't live in Japan, and yes I believe it is only applicable to Japanese 3DS owners; but I'm sure that there are Japanese gamers who probably feel the same way about these advertisements as I do. In other words, they wouldn't want them messing up their Puzzle Swap collection.

As insanolord says, I guess turning off the wireless would be the easiest way to avoid collecting those pieces.
