Title: Animal Crossing Question

Is it possible to get rid of those annoying signs that are scattered about the town that gives you hints and information. They were ok for when I first started the game but I would really like to get rid of them.
Does anyone know if that's even possible? I did a search already for Animal Crossing related links here and nothing was in relation to my question.

Nope. Those signs are placemarkers for where new neighbors will have their house. If one of your old neighbors move out, a new neighbor will move in anywhere a sign is. Unfortunately, you can't remove them.
