The Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance North American demo is now available. The news came from the North American Nintendo Direct presentation.

Demos for other 3DS games, Rhythm Thief and Heroes of Ruin, are coming to the eShop soon.

Kingdom Hearts 3D was released in Japan earlier this year and is being released in North America on July 31.

Gameplay is new, fun, and exciting. Graphics have hit pretty much PS2 level with slight jaggies. Broodwars will have to supply impressions with the CPP, as I don't have one. I still question why they used a younger looking Sora and Riku character model than KHII because it makes this game seem like another prequel. They should have kept their KHII models but with the costume change. It's not a big deal but I'm sure it'll pull me out of the narrative. And Neku seemed like a better voice actor in TWEWY but that may be a directional decision. We'll find out in the final release I guess.

Kingdom Hearts DDD is a Circle Pad Pro-compatible game?  Yay.

I don't think the demo is compatible with it, I looked everywhere and couldn't find the option to toggle it on.

I really could have used it, too. Using L and R to swivel the camera is awful. That's 5th-gen stuff. C'mon now. :/
