Title: Nintendo 3DS E3 Software Showcase Announced

Looks like Nintendo might need three conferences to handle everything they are dishing out.

Nintendo 3DS will be the focus of an upcoming E3 presentation on Wednesday, June 6.

The presentation will be hosted by Scott Moffitt, the Nintendo of America Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and will focus exclusively on 3DS software. The presentation itself is taking place at 6-7 p.m. PT/9-10 p.m. ET at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and is going to be live-streamed by Nintendo.

Although 3DS wasn't totally discounted from Nintendo's E3 presentation tomorrow, this new development suggests that Wii U will likely be taking the entirety of the spotlight.

Hopefully they announce the release dates of Paper Mario and Animal Crossing!

Unfortunately I feel they need it... I love'm and all, but they got some work ahead of them to get some of the dude-bro gamers on their bandwagon.

Shoving it off to another conference makes me pessimistic about our chances of seeing Paper Mario this year.  Please surprise me yet again, Nintendo!

Isn't NSMB2 dropping in August? They have to showcase that. Anything else without a release date is pointless. Unless it's Earthbound.

VickiL, they will likely still have 3DS at their main press conference, they will just have another one that is focused on it while the main one will be mostly Wii U (and maybe a little bit Wii and DS).
