Title: Nintendo to bundle the GameBoy Advance (original version) with the GameCube
Post by: MarioLinkSamus on May 17, 2003, 05:53:26 PM
Nintendo announced that they will be bundling the Game Boy Advance (the original model, not the newer SP version) with the GameCube at the existing $149.99 price point.

The Nintendo bundle, which the company says will be available for a “limited time” goes on sale June 23rd.

Yeah, its the gameboy player.  I really dont think anyone would care much for a GC bundle with the regular gba in it.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a choice.

Both the GBP and GBA are $50 now.  Alot of games are requiring the GBA as a "controller" so it would make sense to own one.

Also, did anyone find out how the GBP will deliever the GBA content (for example, metroid fusion suit to metroid prime--I should post this in IGN mailbag to see what they say).

I think you're going need a GBA still.

For content you get with connection I remember reading  that you need two gamecubes. Could be wrong though.

Actually, we did talk to the man that designed the Game Boy Player at E3.  Yes, it's theoretically possible to have a GameCube game talk to the Player, but he doesn't know of any titles that plan to use the connection.
