In which the Connectables assassinate their personal backlogs.

We just keep running into each other like this, isn't that funny? Well, we've got some good stuff for you this week on this week's connectivity. Kid Icarus is on the horizon and there's a good amount of news and listener mail devoted (mostly) to it.
After that we take you back in time, to the days of 2007 as we go through the history of the Assassin's Creed franchise. Hopefully this will get you ready to knock off some redcoats in Assassin's Creed 3 later this year on Wii U. Finally, Andy, Grant, and Nathan discuss their ever-looming gaming backlogs.

It's very freeing not to worry about finishing things and just have fun.

I fully realize this era in which I can spend this much money on games will come to an end, and that fuels the spending even more. Once I get to the point where I can't afford games anymore I want to have a kickass library available to go back through. :)
Yes to both these. I am the same way....

Totally just went through that phase, and now have a shelf filled with games - many still waiting to get any real playing time. Frankly, now that I'm in a spot where money for games has become quite limited it makes me happy every time I look at my collection and pick what gets played next. And make no mistake: all of these games are getting played eventually!
I expect that 2012 will be the first time my backlog starts to shrink in a meaningful way, instead of continuing to expand.
