Resident Evil (http://www.geek.com/articles/tagged/resident-evil) fans no doubt own every version of the game Capcom (http://www.geek.com/articles/tagged/capcom) has officially released, but there’s one game in the series that made it to 90% complete before being canceled. That game is Resident Evil for the Game Boy Color (http://www.geek.com/articles/tagged/game-boy-color). The game is a conversion of the PlayStation original, which Capcom decided to port using London-based 3rd party developer HotGen. A final build of the game was created way back in the year 2000, but ultimately Capcom decided against a release because they didn’t think it would sell.
Would it have sold? Would it sell now? Capcom could finish it up and put it on the Virtual Console thing.
Mod Edit: replaced the URL with one more accurately reflecting the situation.

I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't buy a terrible version of what was already a very dated and clunky game 12 years ago.

That looks like it could be Hilarious.
I think it be cool if Capcom took it and gave it to a talented team to redo the dialog to make it a parody of Resident Evil.

I'm not sure how you could parody the dialogue of the original game, given how legendarily awful it already was. Maybe they could change it so it's actually good.

Isn't Jill Sandwich and Master of Unlocking half the point of playing Resident Evil at this point?
