Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword will be available February 2 on the 3DS eShop in North America. It will cost $6.99.

Sakura Samurai, developed by Nintendo, promises precision sword-fighting on a quest to rescue Princess Cherry Blossom. You fight waves of enemies and epic bosses, stopping at villages along the way to get new gear and interact with the townsfolk.

My initial typo where I called this game "Sakurai Samurai" made me less excited about this game by comparison to something that will sadly never exist.

Sakurai Samurai, where you travel around fighting people who don't like Kirby's level design. His partner is his cat.

After all the complaints about all the garbage on WiiWare and DSiWare, Nintendo's really come out of the gate strong with the eShop. I own every game currently available, and only one of them is really questionable, with two more good-looking games in the next couple weeks.

Which one is questionable? Freakyforms? I LOVE Pushmo, Mighty Switch Force and Zen Pingball.
