Title: Price Cost of "Connecting" Games
Post by: Artimus on May 14, 2003, 12:47:36 PM
Looking at Tetra's Trackers, Four Swords, Pac Man, etc, I think they all look fun. And I might buy them. But I am NOT paying full price. No way, never. Not when you need 4 gbas. So, will Nintendo INSANELY sell these hardly-GCN games for full price? Or might we seem them at 29.99? Or 39.99 with a GBA-GCN cable? I'd buy them for 39.99 Canadian, but not 69.99. What do you think?

Chances are that I won't buy any of them regardless of cost, as I don't have enough friends
But I would consider it if they were cheaper, like say $30 CAD.

Yep. Either that, or package them all on a single disc.

There's no way these "games" would sell at full price. They'll be cheap (Hopefull dirt cheap)
I mean, who in their right mind would fork over a huge wad of cash for what is basically, a cheap, quick multi-player game that you can't even play on the GC by itself? Pfft.
Maybe Nintendo will bundle it in with Link Cables, or GBA's, or... I dunno. They don't deserve full price for these games. Not at all.

That makes the most sense to me. None of them seem like full blown adventures anyway, from what I've seen.

i wish that they would transform Four Swords into a full blown Zelda adventure .. and you could veer off the screen to other parts of the land (thats when you would have to look at your GBA to see whats up and maybe the visuals would be beefed up when you were on the TV (*running off of the gamecube) so like crystal chronicles, but hwen you stray away its like link ot the past on your own personal screen

Pokemon Box, which requires a GBA, cable and a Pokemon game, costs about$16 in Japan, so I would assume it would be around that price here. Probably $20 American.
