Title: Updates NOW available in E-shop games
Post by: AV on January 05, 2012, 08:43:14 PM
Go to Other Options in E-shop and go to downloads (NOT UPDATES WTF?!! ) and all your downloads that have an update will have banner on them. Several games got updated from Super Mario Land to Pushmo, to Netflix.

I have no clue what the updates do but you need to download something. I am not sure if saved data is changed or anything.

I can confirm that Kirby's Dream Land and Link's Awakening DX need updates. Not sure what for.

The word I can find is that the games were updated for compatibility reasons, apparently they weren't working properly on certain 3DS systems.

That is terrible that the "Updates" feature is broken.  I've been checking "Updates" for months only to find that it's broken.  5 3DS system menu updates and they haven't caught it yet.

I really hope Nintendo are aware that it's broken. Has anyone ever contacted customer service about it? It has never really worked from the beginning I think and if I didn't follow forums I'd have no clue that I had things that had updates avaliable. I got no notice at all from the eShop.

I still have no clue what any of the updates did. I don't like updates for the sake of updates, I want to know what they did .
