Just a quick headcount... OK, good. Looks like most everyone survived the holiday bloodlust. Congratulations on making it through another family-filled and travel-heavy holiday season!

This week on Connectivity, the theme is timelessness. First up, Zach and Scott come together to thankfully talk about something they do know a thing or two about: Christmas presents! Yes, it seems that no matter the age, nothing beats gathering around the playground and comparing the quantity and quality of gifts received over Winter break. Hooray middle class America!

The following segment features Pedro, Daan, Josh and that little blue hedgehog who just won't quit. The guys cover both Sonic Generations and Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games before segueing dangerously close to fanfic territory as they come up with their ideal Mario and Sonic crossover. Perhaps a scene where the two share a chili dog a la Lady and the Tramp? ...And I just puked.

Next up is the mother of all Skyward Sword discussions. Mike, Andrew, and Patrick extensively cover the ins and outs of Link's latest adventure. It should go without saying, but this will be a SPOILER filled chat. So, if you haven't beaten the game yet and don't want to know whether the fire or the water dungeon comes first, skip right along.

After the credits roll, stick around for a bonus conversation about the Doctor's latest Christmas special with Scott, Nicholas, and James. See if the guys give it five out of five Sonic Screwdrivers!

The whole Zelda discussion was very interesting,  one thing I'm finding is that there was apparently many ways to defeat certain enemies.  I had no idea some enemies were afraid of the shiny shield...


I've gotta say, whoever the guy was who didn't learn how to fly properly (and missed many other things) must just hate text and just mashed his way through tutorials.

Hey guy just got my 3ds and love your show. Being 28 and all I dont have any one else to friend with a 3ds. I added all of the crew looking forward to swapnoting ad racing on mario kart. Keep up the good work. By the way im gay but oddly looking forward to seeing zacks dolls that iv heard about so much on the show lol.

One thing I must state since I've been asked this before, but I don't have a 3DS yet. Once I do I will try to add as many codes as possible.

It sucks, but when I was working last year the 3DS was just too expensive for my taste. Now that it's affordable I don;t have a job (though that may change soon).

Just finished the episode and I really wish you had someone who was less impressed with Zelda during the discussion, I think it would have livened it up a little and opened up some ideas. I too somehow missed the shake the Wii Mote to climb while flying thing and it really ticked me off. I really think this is my least favorite of every Zelda game I have ever played, and I have only skipped the oracle and CDI games. I think once the newness wears off and people look at it with fresh eyes they will see it does not stand up at all. I spent more time frustrated than enjoying the game.

Liking the podcast shows lately. Nice to have longer casts, they are lasting for two runs now instead of just one. Nice when there is only one a week!
