I, for one, am SHOCKED that Nintendo and Tecmo/Koei agreed to work together after Fatal Frame and Other M.

The faults of Other M were solely on the shoulders of Sakamoto, Team Ninja stopped the game from being even worse (Sakamoto wanted the game to be on-rails until TN pointed out how stupid that would be).

It appears to be a turn-based game, not a real-time (RTS) game. At least, if it plays out like Nobunaga's Ambition, then it's turn-based. This is definitely an odd pairing, I wonder how it will turn out... or if it'll even leave Japan.

Feudal Pokemon? I wanted to see Pokemon outside of their usual Pokeverse, but I never expected this. Judging from the characters, I'd think you get an Eevee. There's a generic guy and girl character both with Eevees.

It's not an RTS, it's an Tactical RPG so it's turnbased similar to Final Fantasy Tactics or Fire Emblem series. LOVE IT !! Can't wait. My DS is charged and ready to go.

If it comes out of Japan I will probably get it. I love both Pokemon and SRPG games so I'm all set for it.

Luigi Dude: Your right. Actually, after I wrote that I realized that I was wrong...but I was too lazy to change the post. Still the main point is true...they keep on doing the same thing with Pokemon and I want to see something different.

This better leave Japan. I'm digging some of the older Pokémon getting focus which had been slowly sifted to the way side of late, like Mewtwo and Articuno.

Considering it is a Pokemon game, I'd imagine NOA would bring it over since retail Pokemon games are always guaranteed sellers. My guess is they'll just call it something like Pokemon Feudal Warriors in the West since no one even knows about Nobunaga's Ambition over here.

Other M might as well have been on rails. I don't see how that would have made it any worse. Its not like you have any freedom to explore or backtrack anyway. Being on rails might not have made it any better, but it wouldn't have made it any worse.

You can back track a good bit. Some areas were hard to get back though, IIRC. It just usually wasn't worth it.
As for Pokemon, gameplay looks good. A little FFTA in my Pokamans sounds groovy.
