Title: Staff Sez #4: Voices for the Legend of Zelda!

The plucky NWR staff come up with great casting choices for The Legend of Zelda!

After a long hiatus, Staff Sez returns once again! The Holidays are upon us, and there is a VERY good chance many boys and girls will be receiving The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword as a Christmas present! We at NWR love the game dearly, so it will be a special Christmas for those boys and girls! But for all the joy and wonder Skyward Sword has to offer, we wonder... how would the game be like if it had voices? Most importantly...

Who would be the worst possible choice to voice Link, Zelda and Ganondorf?

Maybe in the next few podcasts you can have the casts reenact a couple of scenes so we all know how badly all the dialog will need to be rewritten before they start putting voices to it:)


I would really love to see the whole series turned completely inside out.   Of course mostly, I'd just prefer new IP and new fresh stories. (with great gameplay of course).

We know Link and Ganon will be Bosch and Lowenthal in some combination.

In fact everyone will be voiced by Patrick Stewart.

Why on that kicked only picking people who use to be on ST:TNG.

I came up with a second answer in the email thread for this, based on recent commercials, where all three of them (and everyone else) would be voiced by Robin Williams. In my mind, he does the entire voice track for all characters in the game in one take.

Actually I didn't see your comment until the other day when I logged into Skype for the staff meeting and it showed me a flood of Growl notifications of what came in after I left the last time. I must have signed out before you said that the previous week, so I didn't know you'd said it when I said it initially.

He'd play himself in the zelda franchise.
