At our shop we've had many PS3s and Xbox 360s absolutely *infested* with cockroaches come in. One of them was sent to SONY first and they sent it right the **** back with a note saying they don't put up with that ****, and voided their warranty due to insects.

Apparently some kinds of ants are attracted specifically to electronic devices. Isn't that the damndest thing?

Also that roach thing is horrifying

Roaches are attracted to electrical impulses too, like some ants (if not all). It is pretty fucking weird.

This information could come in handy during the inevitable robot uprising.

I have seen those in person, it's funny (and disgusting) to hear them getting chopped up by the Xbox 360's fan.

Hey SUPER! That's not a game, that's a console! Boy, you'd think you'd know that since you're posting on a video game forum! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Ants and roaches are pretty common critters to find within consumer electronics. Whether they're attracted to the impulses or not, it doesn't help that most people are just plain filthy.

I've once opened a client's computer up to find a rather sizable wasp nest, along with a handful of live wasps, within. I've also seen a handful of spider webs, with spiders intact, as well.
