Title: Japan Release Date for Metal Gear Solid 3DS Set

Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is coming to Japan on March 8, according to Famitsu (via Andriasang).

The information was revealed at a press event celebrating the release of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.

The game was originally shown at E3 2010, where the positive reception of a demo led to full development of the game. It was set for a 2011 release, but was pushed back to 2012. Currently, it's just set for early 2012 in other regions.

With the availability of Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, I don't see much of a point in releasing this. Oh well, a game is better than no game.
