One of the many benefits of being Black:
:::: I've been negotiating the word "NIGGA" with my white friends ::::
So far my deals have got me:
A designated driver whenever I need one. I can take any drink out of my friends hands and it becomes mine. I get automatic shotgun on any road trips my friend goes on (and he goes on a lot). One friend has to pay me a $10 subscription fee every month.
All these contracts last a year before we can renegotiate. What do they get in return?
The word "Nigga" without constraint*. If they say it while I'm not there and are being instigated into a fight, they can call me to talk to those instigators.
*They cannot say it to my family.
It's been pretty damn fun so far.

WHY HAVE I NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT!!!
THAT IS GENIUS!!!
preying on white (and other non-black) guilt. If only I could go back in time so that I may know then what I know now.

As a moderator, I should warn you that you should definitely not do that.

part of my negotiation would be you can't say cracker, even if your talking about the food stuff. I'm not offended by the word cracker, and I don't have a reason to use racial identifying words. I use dude unless im being racist. Then I use the real racial slur cus I dont give a ****. Usually while driving. I think racial slurs should only be used to describe individuals who are setting back their respective group back. If only to remind them that they are perpetuating a stereotype. Otherwise hasty generalization are frowned upon.

I'm surprised no one has tried to negotiate me not being able to say nigga or any deviations of it like niglet or nigris (my new favorite).
It must be nice to know that they actually do feel guilt toward something. My race? Not so much. I've explained to a handful of people why I've never celebrated "Thanksgiving" and all I get in return are blank stares. They asked.

Your Native American aren't You?
Seriously enough I've always been insulted how I get generalized to Non-Latino Caucasian.
Why couldn't I be Light American? Do the whole thing like Chocolate. We're all just Americans, I really don't know why Politics and like take such stock in coloring...

From what I understand about the first Thanksgiving, it was a time when the Pilgrims were doing very poorly and faced with starvation, but then the Native Americans came and shared food with them and saved them. But knowing what would happen in the centuries that followed, might it not have been better (from their perspective) if they had just allowed the Pilgrims to starve to death? The lesson here is to never help others, because no good deed goes unpunished.

I think you've got that story confused with the grasshopper and the ant story. The actual story of the first Thanksgiving involves aliens.

Aliens from another world (the old world) invading the new world.
Nah, bro. It was on the History Channel. (http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m74/nickmitch889/Aliens.jpg)

I love Ancient Aliens. But I only accept some of what they are saying as plausible, and I think they do their theory a disservice by trying to connect every single thing that happened throughout history. It is very possible Aliens are real and did visit the Earth, but to suggest humans couldn't have stacked stones on top of one another to build monuments or develop writing or whatever without alien assistance is not giving humanity enough credit. They aren't suggesting aliens helped us built cellphones or computers today, so why did aliens have to give us writing thousands of years ago?
There's also that David Childress guy on there who I am unable to take seriously after this one episode where he said NASA crashed a probe into the moon and the whole moon rang like a bell for hours afterwards. WTF? I looked on google and never could find any such thing, so that dude must be smoking something or he's just nuts. Its fun to watch him and the nutty things he says about magical energy fields and whatever, but I would think the more reasonable ancient alien theorists would want to distance themselves from him, because he makes all of them look bad by association.

Chozo, it is worth pointing out that the cultural triumphs most often associated with aliens are those by non-european cultures.

But they also associate European structures like Stonehenge with Aliens also.

see people dont see people moving huge stones anymore so they point to aliens. **** irritates me being a student of art history. They come up with terrible terrible theories. Completely making the successes of humans sound impossible.

So let me get this straight. One of the many benefits of being black is ancient aliens building anthills? As a white guy who has lost many hours to building anthills all by myself, I am indeed envious. Almost as envious as I am of how much better black guys look in suits.

Because i'm light skinned I lose out on darker skinned roles! That and my acting probably aint no good. I hate when my agent sent me out for roles and i'd walk in shining like sun while everyone else was dark as night.
As far as benefits go, everyone immediately thinks i'm cool/hip or that I can dance. That is until I open my mouth and/or tell them what kind of music I listen to.

yeah, i've heard you talk...well sing, that's not to say i sound any better. I think my voice sounds weird as **** when I speak in my regular voice and I hear it recorded, if I talk in some foreign accent I don't think I sound as weird. I was cursed having moved from Georgia to Idaho to Arizona from ages 10-12 which made me have a very weird speaking voice, unfortunately I can't keep the way im talking straight, and depending on who I talk to them differently. Another thing I hear in recording is this weird nasalness.
