Title: Nintendo Booth Photos
Post by: Berto2K on May 12, 2003, 01:19:58 PM
Gamespot has posted some pics from Nintendo's booth. There are logos for 1080, Donkey Kong Country, Metroid: Zero and a few others like MGS: TS and Mario Kart stations.

Oops, almost forgot the link: Nintendo Booth

Metroid Zero Mission?
If that's not a tentative title I'm going to have make my way to Austin, Tactical 12-Gauge in hand....

That's a GBA game, I believe, Gamefreak. You might wanna make your way to Kyoto, Japan.

Metroid Zero Mission
That's the GBA game, I don't think Retro is doing that.

Edit: Dang, Mouse_clicker, you're one step ahead of me.

Snap, I really want to see these, but my PC always makes Gamespot pics into the Red X's of Doom...does anyone know how to fix that?

hehe, everyone is in a "prequal" sort of mood I guess. So should we be expecting a prequal with this new Metroid? And as others pointed out, this is the GBA game, not Retro's work.

... Maybe we'll see Samus as a little kid.

"HERE CHILD, I HAVE A BIRTHDAY PRESENT FOR YOU!"

Samus: "OH BOY! WHAT IS IT? BARBIE SLIP AND SLID FUN ADVENTURE PLAYSET?"

"NO! IT'S A BLOODY MASSIVE SUIT!"

Samus: "OH.... THANKS. I GUESS"

*Moments later, their planet is blown to bits by Lego men*

*Samus is the only one who survived due to the suit*

Samus: "I SWEAR, I'LL GET YOU DAMN LEGO MEN! GRRRR, BLLLLARRRRG! HEY I CAN ROLL INTO A BALL LIKE SONIC! WEEE!"

ADVENTURE BEGINS NOW!

Do you have Kazaa or Kazaa lite installed? If you do go to this directory if you are on windows computer with XP:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

In there will be a file called hosts. Right click on it to open in notepad, word, works, or whichever word processing program you use. Do a search for image.com.com. Delete that line. I believe it is in there 2 or 3 times. Gamespot stores their media on their servers. I haven't seen any side effects to this.

Me cannot wait for nest GC Metroid. . . I'd get Zero Mission, but I lack a GBA and currently have no intention of getting one.
