Level-5 is working on a new 3DS title, Guild01, this week's Famitsu revealed. Guild01 is an omnibus consisting of the following four games:
1. Kaiho Shojo (Liberation Girl) is a 3D shooter, developed by Suda51 of Grasshopper Manufacturer. As is often the case with his games, the setting of the game is unique: the main character is a high school girl who is the second president of New Japan (her deceased father was the assassinated first president). She is also a pilot of a giant humanoid robot.
2. Rental Bukiya de Omasse (I am a Rental Weapon Dealer) is an RPG by comedian Yoshiyuki Hirai. As a rental weapon dealer, players make weapons and rent them to adventurers. Their adventures are reported by a Twitter-like system.
3. Air Porter is an airport management simulation being developed by Yutaka “Yoot” Saito of Vivarium, the creator of Seaman, Odama, and The Tower. The player controls the head of an airport who tries to sort luggage efficiently so that the airport can expand operations.
4. Crimson Shroud is a short fantasy adventure RPG by Yasumi Matsuno, the director of the Ogre Battle series.
It is unclear whether “01” in the title indicates the commencement of an omnibus series. Guild01 is scheduled to be released in 2012 as a single retail package.
