Title: pokemon on gamecube?

With the success that pokemon is having on the gameboy..

and considering (from what i have observed) ... the relative poor sales of the gamecube and such


wouldn't it be a great idea (and absolutely awesome) to port the pokemon game from gameboy onto gamecube? i'm talking a full 3d, zelda style game. like you get to wander a vast world and battle trainers and catch pokemon. would that not be the most awesome thing ever?

I half expected it on the n64, but all we got was stadium and snap.


why hasn't this been done??

or indeed, is anything like this in the works?

judging by the 4 or 5 topics allready on this yes, i would assume a majority of people would want it me included, vote yes! to toon shading for it too

Wouldn't it be great if this "other game" that might use the Zelda engine is in fact a new Pokemon RPG...Of course, it's very unlikely, but...
