Country Dance 2, a dance game featuring over 30 current country songs, is being developed for Wii by High Voltage Software.

The game, published by GameMill Entertainment, features music from a variety of country artists, including George Strait, Blake Shelton and Carrie Underwood. It builds upon the original by including a new sing-a-long mode, duet dancing, and a calorie-counting exercise mode.

High Voltage Software also developed the first Country Dance game.

GameMill confirmed the first 15 tracks for the game, as follows:

Ashton Shepard – “Look It Up”

Billy Currington – “People Are Crazy”

Blake Shelton – “Honey Bee”

Carrie Underwood – “All American Girl”

Easton Corbin – “Roll With It”

Eric Church – “Hell On The Heart”

George Strait – “Here for a Good Time”

Gwyneth Paltrow – “Shake That Thing”

Hayley McLean – “Good Time Bone”

Josh Thompson – “Won’t Be Lonely Long”

Kellie Pickler – “Tough”

Little Big Town – “Little White Church”

Miranda Lambert – “Gun Powder and Lead”

Montgomery Gentry – “What Do Ya Think About That”

Rodney Atkins – “Take a Back Road”

oh, HVS.  We could have made such beautiful music together.

Gyrostarr? Loved it.
Conduit? Loved it.

Conduit 2? .... who killed Michael Ford and why is Duke Nukem running his missions?

Now this? ... ugh.... gotta pay the bills though, eh?

Please just make Conduit 3DS (every third entry in every franchise ever will be released for the 3DS for the naming reason alone) with the tone of C1 and the frills of C2 and everything will be cool again! K??

... oh and Gyrostarr 2 would be amaaaaazing on 3DS.  k? thx. =P

NinSage, High Voltage has mostly been a for-work developer (meaning a publisher comes to them and asks them to develop the game). The Conduit was their first big game they did on their own. Here are some of their games they developed:

White Men Can't Jump for Atari on 3DO (their first game)
The Haunted Mansion
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Family Guy Video Game!
Duel Masters
Ben 10: Protector of Earth
Codename: Kids Next Door - Operation: V.I.D.E.O.G.A.M.E.
Go, Diego, Go!: Safari Rescue

So they are not new to doing crappy games to pay the bills.

I guess The Conduit must not have made them enough money if they are returning to this stuff.

TJ - right right, but for a moment there it was looking like they would break out that's all.

Mop_it_up - they're probably short on cash cuz I'm not gonna by Conduit Duke Nukem edition 2 until it is $10. =P

I actually wrote HVS an email telling them that..... I never got a response. =\
