Also on Nintendo.com they're listing the Wii (both colors), 3DS (all three colors), and DS (shows the DSLite, DSi, and DSi XL together) as separate units in an image. Not lumping the 3DS in with the DS. You have to click the "Expand to view hardware" link.

That pokemon game looks like a DS game. Way below a 3DS level of graphics. Not really a way to showcase the system, which is probably why they left it out of the second commercial.
But where are all the 3rd party games? They need a commercial just for those.
RE: Mercenaries, Assassins Creed, Random FPS 3D, Final Fantasy Remade Remake 4 3D They need to show off those quality 3rd party games ASAP.

The Pokemon game is a sequel to the WiiWare game and thusly uses the same art style. It's kinda like Animal Crossing where graphics quality can only take the art style so far.

I don't know, I tend to agree that the commercials seem a bit low on production standards. I don't like that Go commercial, but it at least seemed to have more effort put into.
With the music in the background and the kinda thrown together visual form of editing it does look like a bad infomercial. At least in my opinion. :)
