Eurocom is working on an enhanced version of GoldenEye 007 for the PS3 and 360.

Eurocom’s reimagining of GoldenEye 007 will no longer be a Wii and DS exclusive. The developers are currently working on remaking the game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Titled GoldenEye 007: Reloaded, the remake promises enhanced graphics and better online support, with more multiplayer modes and the ability to support up to sixteen players online. The game is currently scheduled for release this fall.
With the relatively good sales of GoldenEye 007 on the Wii, I’d imagine that Activision is hoping to profit even further for the IP’s nostalgia. Though, I’m puzzled that they would decide to release the game around the same time as they release the next Call of Duty game. It seems like they are setting the game up to fail against one of their very own properties.
Watch all the fanboys suddenly love this game.
Still waiting for successful PS3/60 exclusives to hit the Wii!! ^_^They tried that with Dead Rising. It didn't work.

Though, I’m puzzled that they would decide to release the game around the same time as they release the next Call of Duty game. They did this last year when Goldeneye launched on the Wii right around when Black Ops released. That worked out for them, so maybe they figure it will work out yet again.
It is news about an announcement about a game being released on 360/PS3. Not exactly at the top of our queue. Why is it in the queue at all? How does this news matter to Nintendo fans?

The only problem I have with this is that it is going to have more features than the Wii version does, that just feels like undermining people who bought the Wii game. Also, that's why it was posted as a blog (which is not limited to Nintendo).
Ah, I didn't notice it was a blog entry. I thought that blog posts went to a separate place from news posts but I see now they go in with all the new articles on the front page. Its pretty much their way of consolidating them in one place so everyone can see them and not avoid them when the blog posts were in its own section of the forum.
Which is fine. Just which there was a clearer blog indicator up at the article top.Ah, I didn't notice it was a blog entry.
