It's coming this week in Europe, but America will have to wait a little longer.

Let's Golf! 3D is coming out on the eShop in North America on August 11, according to Gameloft.

The game, an original 3DS downloadable title, is set for release this Thursday in Europe. It will be the first non-Nintendo-published original 3DS title on the service in non-Japan regions. The game is €6 in Europe, which, using the same-priced Xevious as a barometer, translates to $6 in North America.

The Let's Golf series has been on a variety of mobile platforms, including DSiWare in 2010.

As soon as I saw it was from Gameloft, I knew it was a cell phone game. I think all of their DSiWare games were ports of cell phone games (and usually priced higher).

For all the **** Gameloft gets, they're actually a pretty good developer. Almost incapable of coming up with an original idea, but the clones they make are usually built very well.

Maybe, I am not saying their games are bad. I just meant that none of their DSiWare games were actually new, they were all ports of existing cell phone games.

I know, my post wasn't in response to yours. But while they are ports, they're ports of what are generally pretty good games, and they aren't that much more than their regular iPhone prices.
