Title: Xenoblade Chronicles Confirmed for Canada and Mexico
Post by: NWR_insanolord on June 29, 2011, 11:30:32 AM
Will not be playable on US Wiis due to previously unknown region-within-region locking capability in Wii hardware.

And this is what displays when you attempt to play it in a U.S. Wii or any Wii currently within U.S. Borders.

Because it's not just Region Locked, it's also Region Blocked (patent pending).

And Also Cuba and Puerto Rico (They don't want to be Americans)

This looks shopped: I can tell because Nintendo seemingly only exists to troll me at this point.

If NoA wanted to really troll like this the disc should be made in the USA and have that logo.

Never said they weren't.  I have yet to hear someone from Peurto Rico just identify themselves as an American and not a Puerto Rican.

Just like newyorkers and texans. ;)

You said "they don't want to be americans" when technically, we all are. I mean, we do not live in europe or africa, right? We live in america, where the United States of America is located on North America, where Cuba and Puerto Rico are too (except a bit down south hehe).

Back to never said any of them weren't.  Though I will maintain that for the longest time I was pretty convince Mexico was part of Central America.  Without them that has to be tiny.

We need to get Pap64 in here to settle this.

But Pap is a staff member, and like most staff members, only considers himself a talkbacker. They don't want to be forumers. Only a few "talkbackers" take pride in their Forum Citizenship and travel off the lovely but isolated island that is the front page Talkback section.

Oh... The Mythical Front Page.

I'd probably visit the frontpage more often if the forums linked to it.

I brought it up at PAX with pretty much the entire staff right in front of me... blank stares gave me my answer.

"We have a forum?"

I'm guessing your reverse psychology will actually work this time.

Sorry for not always being in the Funhouse, guys. Maybe if you went to the front page more we'd reciprocate. :)

We would the visit front page more if you provided a link to there from the forum

but you won't put a link to there from the forum unless we visit the front page more....

There are apparently technical issues as to why the link isn't there. We've got two more programmers added into our ranks, so it should hopefully be resolved soon.

I was going to say I'd give everyone here Neal's home address (which I totally could) for the letter writing campaign, but he chose a bad time to actually go to the forums.

If you ever do that, you don't want to know the consequences, but it would likely involve two donkeys, a frog, a robot, and blueberries.
