Title: Free Club Nintendo Points (North America)
Post by: leroypantweather on June 27, 2011, 04:48:51 PM
So I recently received New Super Mario for both DS and Wii.  Club Nintendo is telling me I can not register these titles again.  My loss is one of your gains.

New Super Mario Wii: KUM-J2XY-LGLY-HSM

New Super Mario DS: 9J2-WTVY-TLSL-R6T

Whoever uses the codes it would be appreciated if you just dropped a message back in this forum to let me know when they are no longer valid.  Sorry in advance if creating a thread like this is against rulezzzzz.

You could have made a family account and then kept the points for yourself if you needed them for platinum/elite status.

I used the NSMB DS code. Can't use the Wii one though...

@blacknmild, i am like 90 percent sure i already have a family account so there must be a limit on how many times you can register things even under that.  Full disclosure i worked video game retail so I am pretty sure I have registered those titles at least twice each before, maybe even quite a few more times

I think you have to make a second account and link it to the family account. Which begs the question, do family coins actually get shared for elite status, or just for spending?
