Title: Well, 2011 is (Almost) Half Over
Post by: FZeroBoyo on June 26, 2011, 01:06:36 PM
How's the year treatin' everybody?
You stick to your resolutions? You find something exciting?
I guess it's something to express our opinion with how things have been so far...

Summer is going to be interesting. I feel it in my bones.

Well I broke my ankle on January 2nd and couldn't walk for 3 months, so the first part of the year didn't treat me very well at all.
But then I started working for NWR, which I love (and I'm not just saying that because Neal threatened to beat me if I didn't), and the 3DS came out, which I seem to be in the very small minority of being happy with it so far. And my ankle's back to probably about 90%, so I can walk fine and everything.
So what I'm saying is the first half of the first half of the year really sucked, but it has been improving since then.

I'm still doing Kendo. Got my Hakama, and Kendo-Gi after a few months of beginning Kendo. The next step is to get the Bogu, but I need to practice a lot more before I'm good enough to wear it.
Just recently I decided to learn how to make chainmail. I cannot wait.

Just because I like you, I went and tried. I was able to without any issues. The thing is, those don't require much movement in the ankle, which is where my remaining issues are. I still have some pain when flexing and extending the foot, or moving it side to side.
