WayForward Technologies, developer of smash-hit Shantae: Risky's Revenge on DSiWare, hopes to bring her original Game Boy Color debut back for a second run on the 3DS Virtual Console download service.
While they cannot make any solid promises or confirmations, they announced on their Facebook page that they are "actively pursuing" the re-release and will give new information as soon as they have anything to report.
It is not uncommon to see the original Game Boy Color cart sell for upwards of $300 on eBay, showing that the game is still very high in demand.
Sweet.I think this is going to be a timing thing. I seriously doubt we will see GBA games till either next year or Holiday.
It can't be too hard to bring it on the 3DS Virtual Console, right?
@Mop it up: The game is expensive because it's (1) damn good; and (2) had an incredibly low print run. Like, spectacularly low. It's more a supply & demand problem than a "this game is amazing" problem. You can say this about many games that don't sell for anywhere close to the amount of this one.
